White Wednesday!

Hey Chickies!

I'm joining Kathleen for White Wednesday today. If you've never checked this MEME out before, you're going to want to RUN right over and take a little peek....right here.

Aren't those two of the cutest pitchers EVAH??? I bought them both on our recent trip to Bend, Oregon. The one on the left was from the GOODWILL! I KNOW! Isn't that just toooo wonderful? I am about 99% sure it's vintage. The bottom is as pretty as the rest of this little cutie. It has a wonderful pattern and is soft and worn which leads me to believe it's not a new piece. It has no markings whatsoever....darn it all. I paid less than five dollars for it and I'm CRAZY about it's shape. Cute AND cheap....could it get any BETTA?

The second pitcher came from my little visit at Camas Antique mall. DEEE.LISH.... Isn't she sweet? I LOVE it.

HOLY MOLY! I HAD to have that clock on the left... It's vintage celluloid.... I am nuts about it. We found it at a darling little shop called Pomegranate... I had to think about it for a few days. Now, remember I am one cheap chickie.....I LOVE thrifty finds and free is even better in my book. This was FIFTY dollars. YIKES......that's a VERY rare even for me....We always buy a little something special when we're there though....a little souvenir for our anniversary. I've never seen one before and knew if I went home without it I'd regret it forever. And, it actually works. WooooHoooo! The other little clock is from Camas Antiques too....the little, tiny pitcher on the left is from the Goodwill.... NINETY NINE cents. There's a little basket back there too, but it's hiding. ;-)

I bought a lot more and I'll be posting the pix soooooon.

The Hubbs is healing......getting better every day....but he's as cranky as all get out. I'll be glad when he's back to his old self.

I hope all is well with you sweet and wonderful girlies.

We had some REALLY big winds here in the Northwest last night.... Our power was off for 8 hours..... Brrrrrrrr.............and we had an earthquake this morning.... and yukky weather predicted for the next two days too..... HANG ON if you're in this area! :-)

Our very dear friend, Bobby, is having his heart surgery at 8 in the morning... Please remember him in your prayers.

God bless each of you.

Huggies and Lovies,
Spencer

  2. The pitchers and clocks are lovely. Sometimes we need to pay a bit more for something we love and that's okay when we are thrifty 99% of the time! My opinion anyway.

Sounds like you have had some miserable weather...and an earthquake? Wow! Hope everything is okay.

Sending many prayers out for Bobby.

    XO,
    Jane

  3. Glad your hubby is on the mend but sorry about the crankiness. When my hubby gets cranky that's when I know he really feels bad because he's rarely cranky.

    Love your white pitchers.

  4. I love those little pitchers! I collect white pitchers also and those are to druel for!!!! I have a remedy for cranky hubbys'. It will help you more than him but take your thumb and pointer finger and rub them together and pretend his head is between them. I always feel so much better after doing that.

  7. Spencer, I love that little clock! I don't blame you one bit of buying that no matter what the cost. It is DARLING! Love all of the other goodies, too. You did well on your hunt! :-)

I just said a prayer for your friend Bobby and am trusting that all will be well.

Say a little prayer for me if you get a chance because I am a little under the weather with a LOT going on right now. :-( On a happier note, we have gorgeous weather. Sorry you've been cold. Wish I could send you some sunshine.

    Love you much...

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  10. Hey thrifty girl, you're my kind gal. Love your slipcover chair fix and your hooked rugs. I'm fixin' to start hooking. I'm glad you like the wool trees, I like them best over the paper, but most people seem to like the paper.

Now those little white pitchers are darling! The clock - I can see why you had to have it!
To answer your question - my little tea pot is not a Fitz and Floyed - just a no name cutie.
Thanks for popping in to see me.

  21. Hi Spencer...

Oooh...I love, love, LOVE your pretty white pitchers! You know I collect them? Those are some real beauties, Girlfriend! Loved getting a peek at your vintage clocks as well...they made for a beautiful vignette paired with the pretty pitchers! I must admit that I'm not familiar with the celluloid clock...I'll have to do some reading up on them! I love it's soft yellow color though...very sweet!

Well my friend, I wanted to come by to wish you and your sweet family a Happy Thanksgiving! I'm sooo glad to hear that your honey is healing...a blessing for sure!!! Have a safe and blessed holiday, sweet lady!!!
