Oh YES! I do love a nice Pink Saturday! Lots of pretty pink girlies participate in the pink-a-licious fun! Make yourself a nice cup of tea and sit a spell and enjoy them at www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com
Thanks again for hosting this great MEME Beverly...isn't she a peach?
Thanks so much for coming to visit....I appreciate it so much.
One of my favorite tole trays.....isn't it sooo pretty? They sure painted great trays back in the day. The candle is from Anthropologie and smells sooooooooooo yummy......it's on a nice stack of vintage china plates......mmmmmmmmmm.........My little grandson found the egg shells in the woods and it's my Mum's cross hanging around the candle. It's so precious to me and I wore it for awhile, but something about the chain kept nipping at my neck....OUCH.

Oh my gosh...............check out this little bit of PINK Super Yum! My darling daughter calls pink her favorite color and will buy ANYTHING in that lovely hue....Here is her new Pink Coach Bag....isn't it just tooooo delish???
Don't you think she should give that to her beloved Mom???

I always get the Sunday paper.........Reading it....ADS only.......is one of my favorite things to do during the week; and several years ago Lowe's (of all places!) had this darling little metal rack on sale for 15.00! Can you believe it? I hopped right into my little car and headed there to get one before they were all gone. ........I'm so glad I did! I've collected the little pitchers for years. As I've said I've never met a little pitcher I didn't like, and these are just a few of a rather large (and growing) collection.
And, three tole trays....gosh I love 'em!
The flower pot was an estate sale purchase for a few dollars.......the topiary is made from some ivy I rooted and trained over a COAT HANGER that I shaped into a circle...Now.....that's in inexpensive little thing, isn't it?? :-)
The walls are NOT that bright pink! They're actually a really pale blush pink....but I'm not Suzie Photographer.....obviously.... :-)

And........lastly.....we have a teensie backyard....not that I'm complaining. I LOVE it. It's quite English looking and makes me SOOOO happy. I love looking out the back door and seeing all the pots and flowers. It's just happy to me!
I'm a SUPER thrifty girl and I LOVE making something new and useful out of something that would normally be pitched out.
In our beensie backyard we have a teensie patio covered by a canvas gazebo. Last year we had quite a lot of snow and the darn thing collapsed. DANG it. It was our "new" gazebo, the last one pooped out after a couple of years. The corners were still in great shape, so I took three of them and hooked them together to make this great piece of yard art. I do LOVE some nice yard art! It didn't cost a penny and looks pretty good for trash, doesn't it???
On the GARAGE SALE front..........it went quite well. We had beautiful weather and a great turn out. My friend, Jan, and I do this sale every year (we did skip last year).....we have so much fun. We get to sit and chit-chat for three whole days and visit with some of the nicest people ever.....while we make some money! Now, isn't that dandy? :-) I didn't have too much this year and still made about 350.00, so I was pleased.
Thanks sweet girlies for coming. You mean the world to me!
Have a wonderful and safe weekend.
Hugs,
Spence
