And, Time Passes

Ten years ago today my son-in-law went to be with Jesus.

He was so much fun...  a great sense of humor, a really hard worker and most of all, for a grandma?  An awesome father.  It was wonderful watching him be a parent.  A carefree guy who didn't really seem like "dad" material....  But OH MY...  did he ever surprise me.  So tender and sweet with his boy.  And all he really wanted to do was be with his child.

We still miss you Mike.  Always will.

  9. Anniversaries of this sort are not happy ones but still you'll see him again someday, sugar.

Granddaughter and family are visiting here from Washington and love us so much they're not wanting to go home. Great granddaughters are adorable of course!!

  10. what a lovely post and it gives me faith in fathers reading about your SIL.....my ex-SIL right now is putting this family through hell and is being a horrible father to my dear MIss B....My heart breaks for that sweet child as she does not deserve to be treated so poorly by her father. So it's wonderful to hear that their are good men who are fathers (my husband included)...Hugs, Sue
