April 10th 1971.
My one and only child was born on that wonderful and glorious day.
And, today..... She's FORTY?
Oh my....the time has just flown by. I can hardly believe it. It seems like we were just getting ready for her seventh birthday.
What a darling little girl she was. I so enjoyed being a Mommy....still do.
Had I known anything about home schooling back then I think I'd have kept her home. I just loved spending time with her. Still do.
We had very frequent Mother-Daughter Days.... go off and do something special for the day, just my little girl and me. Still do!
She is the kindest, most gentle person I have ever known.
It shouldn't surprise me when she's so tender, that's how she has always been, but she just turns to jelly....seriously.... and is loving in such a wonderful way, when I just know I couldn't be. I watch and learn.
She is HILARIOUS! She makes me laugh until I hurt. She throws her head back and the laughter just spills out. She's a ray of sunshine and you can't be in a room with her and not be joyous.
My girl is a fabulous Mom.... So hard to do as a single Mother. And, my grandson totally adores her......easy to see why.
I know she wishes she had more time. She wants to help EVERYONE do EVERYTHING.... there just aren't enough hours in the day for anyone to achieve those lofty goals.
And, she's generous. REALLY generous. She'll give EVERYTHING away. If you love it or need it........she'll give it to you. I have to be careful about what I admire.....she'll want to give it to me....or anyone else for that matter.
I love her so much. She has blessed my life more than words could ever express. I'm crazy about her.
We're having a crab feed for her this afternoon.... I can hardly wait for her to get here.
Happy, Happy Birthday Darling Daughter!
YMLY (your mama loves you)...

Have a wonderful Day Sweet Chickies!
