You Could Call It Cottage Style Estate Sale Heaven!

I've shown all of you little chickies pix from this great estate sale proprietress before, but these are just too yummy not to let you have a peek........Just look at all of these little lovelies! And, to top it off, this gal has wonderful prices. It's quite a long way from where I live and in a busy little
town. Parking is often an issue and, as I've said......that's just not an option for my anymore..(hills, steps........not so good)....so I won't be at this one.

Darn it.

I'll console myself by remembering that my "back stock cupboard" is overflowing and wouldn't hold another item, no matter how happy it would make me to have it! :-)

One of these days I'll share a shot of that 'lil cupboard.

Whew.......not so good.

My sweet Mum actually had a desk EXACTLY like this one. It was cherry, not painted, but the style was identical.

Wouldn't this be the cutest thing painted that lovely very pale Robin's Egg blue? YUM!!

My dear Mum had it filled with teacups. I think about sixteen sets with pretty plates behind them. How very English! It was my grandpa's. My Mum had it everywhere she lived and to me it just said "Mum".... :-)

I would zip right over to this table to buy that lovely pink lacy plate. Isn't it just toooo delish???

And, just look at all those teacups! So, the desk AND all the
teacups to fill it? PERFECT!!! Meant to BE!!

Look at that precious little chocolate pot. I think it's one of the prettiest ones I've ever seen. I see the sugar bowl, but no creamer, but who cares? And, that Robin's Egg blue plate? YUMMMMY! And, look at the candlesticks! Aren't those little cuties?

You can click on any picture if you'd like.....bigger shots?? You know you will! :-)

Well, darn it....I had a picture of the most beautiful quilt but just deleted it. I still can't figure out how to add another picture without it going on top? How the heck do you do that?

I'm still learning all this techie stuff!

This is a Becky Metala sale.....if you're close to Kirkland, Washington you may want to check it out! I think I'll still be sleeping... ;-)

Thanks, chickies for coming by!

I love your visits!

Hugs and blessings,
Spencer

  8. I love Estate Sales, and this does look like a fabulous one. Thank you for sharing the pictures. I very much enjoyed seeing them. Oh, I'd be racing for that beautiful choclate pot. My experience has been that you have to load your pictures backwards (the one you want to appear first has to be loaded last). You can move them around after you get them loaded. When you load them, instead of clicking on left, right, or middle, click on "none", and I think they can still be enlarged even if you've moved them around within your blog. Don't know if any of this makes sense. laurie

  11. Spencer, You always have such lovely pictures for us to see. I, too, have waaaay too much stuff! Need it like a hole in the head... But I covet it when I see it... It's like a little addiction... As for your pics- are you using blogger? I am now using live writer and have NO issues w/pictures anymore. You might want to check it out. I think it is soooo much easier to use- more options and picture loading is a breeze... Questions- e-mail me! Sending hugs, Sue

  12. I wish I could go shopping there....lots of pretties. If you download another picture, it will be on the top but just click and hold and move it where you want. It takes some practice, but they can be moved...but then you cannot enlarge the picture you moved. I don't know why blogger doesn't come up with a better way to download pictures and why only 5 at a time...what a pain! Good luck.

  14. Spencer, such pretty things. I think I could have just drooled over all of them. However that gorgeous white eagle on the pedestal was the thing that just grabbed my heart. I have been trying to find a rooster on a pedestal like that, but the eagle would do really nicely. Sorry you can't go, but I agree, I am so OUT of cupboard space. Sure wish you had the desk though. Check out my blog I am taking a survey to see who would be interested in a Cloche Party. Let me know. Hugs, Marty

I do love that little secretary...and yes, it would be just lushious painted a pale robin's egg blue!!! Oh yes, and I'd love to see that lil' cupboard that you were talking about...wink!

  18. I see a few things I sure wouldn't mind having but I really don't need another thing so I guess it's a good thing this sale wasn't in my neighborhood...or my state! I have a pair of crystal candlesticks that look very similar, or the same, as those in the picture. They belonged to my mom and I just couldn't let them be sold in the estate sale we had after her death. I "heart" them!

  20. Thank you for stopping by. I really don't know much about the holly hocks. They were here when we moved in and the birds help spread them everywhere, sun, shade, it doesn't seem to matter. We have heavy clay so I'm surprised anything grows here..

Your blog looks charming. I'll be back at a more decent hour to visit again.

  24. Spencer... boy oh boy girl! Do you have an eye for a handmade pillow or what! "Lynn Bussa or that adorable little Rebecca at A Gathering Place"... yep... The little pink square one with vintage doily in the chair is Lynns... The long one on the settee alone is Rebecca's. The two long ones in the other settee, and the little square vintage barkcloth one in the other chair came from the wonderful Anita at MadeInTahoe... Looks like we love the same wonderful ladies in eBay... Good eye girl!

  25. Hi Spencer,
sooo wonderful.. I say close your eyes and just pretend you're there.. I know what you mean, about trying to get up, and fight the parking and everything to get in the door.. I too, have soo much already, I tell myself to just sit down, and go look in my cupboards and drawers, and uncover forgotten, bought treasures..Sometimes, it's like shopping all over again.. Have a sweet, restful evening Spencer..hugs ~tea~xo
