I just can't believe how quickly this week zipped past. Whew........It seems as though it should only be Wednesday. Holy Cow!
I hope your week has been wonderful and full of fun.
I've done several projects so I'm pretty darn pleased with myself.
I've said before that since my Mum passed away I had lost all of my get-up-and-go........
By golly, I think I'm getting a bit back! Yippppeee!
This picture is from my darling daughter's house. Those little figurines are my very favorite things of hers. She's actually offered to give them to me because I love them so much.....but I must say.......... I love her more and it makes me happy to see them at her house.

I forgot to post this one...........it's from my birthday......YUM!!!! How pretty is that? Well, I have to admit, I actually didn't taste it. I gave up sugar (in March, I think) so my family ate it alllll up....
But it was pretty, wasn't it???
But it was pretty, wasn't it???
Roses, hydrangea and sweet peas from my yard. I love these roses, but they always get brown bits on them....do you have any solutions to that problem???
And, one of my favorite shelves here.....I do love a great tole tray.
And, I dried the roses from a bouquet for my Mum....I just had to hang onto them.
Ok my little dears. Please go check out Beverly at www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com.
She always has wonderful ladies with lots of YUMMY pinks. Lots of Saturday fun!!
And, I'd really love you to meet Rebecca @ RebeccaRoseDesigns.blogspot.com
You will love her little handmade shoes. Adorable!
Have a wonderful week little sweeties.

ReplyDeletelovely pink post...have a wonderful weekend
ReplyDeleteOh Spencer, what a lovely post, Happy Belated Birthday to you. I am happy to hear that you are feeling so much better, life can be so cruel can't it. My mom is still with us and I can't even begin to imagine life without her. I absolutly love sweet peas. We can't grow them here in the desert, or even find them grown to purchase. There scent is pure heaven. The brown spots on your blooms could be from moisture, but I am not sure. Enjoy them anyway, nothing is perfect and they did bloom for you giving you their best. Your shelf is gorgeous and the pink is perfect, Happy Pink Saturday my sweet pinkie friend, Char
ReplyDeleteYou always have so many pretty pink things. I'm glad to hear your "get up and go" came back!

ReplyDeleteI read on down and absolutely positively love the ottoman slipcover. I want to recover everything in my house in white and there is so much! Thanks for the tips.
Lovely Pinks Spencer!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!

All your pink things are lovely. The flowers from your garden are beautiful. What a pretty pink color you have on the wall with the tole tray.
ReplyDeleteHi Spencer,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your beautiful pink Saturday post. I love that you said your daughter was willing to give you the figurines. She must be a special girl.
Your bouquet of roses and hydrangeas is so pretty. The little brown spots are thrips and my roses have them some years. They had them this year. Sometimes I use a systemic on the bushes to control them. Sometimes I just let the little bugs have at them.
Smiles,
June
Hi Spencer! My gosh there just isn't enough time in a DAY!.. But I know I'm not the first one to say THAT! Love all your pinks!.. especially your shelf, and your beautiful flowers (spots and all)!!! I also LOVE your new foot stool in your previous post! I just got done folding laundry, and the crock pot is fired up and running!.. I have to throw some laundry into the dryer, and THEN I'm going to TRY to put up a few more Fall decorations. I am such a SLOW POKE with the fall decorating! I don't know WHEN I will get it all DONE!
