I wish the wires weren't there, but I don't care, it's still one of the cutest little doll houses I've EVER seen.
I would never have thought to hang swag curtains lower like that.....and it wouldn't work in my house, but it sure looks happy to me.
Sending you all big hugs....and God's blessings!
Spencer

This is such a darling home; your house is just as cute and cozy! I prefer small charming houses to large, newer homes. Thank you sweet one for such a lovely photo tour!! Have a great weekend! Anita
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet cottage. It looks so neat and clean - I can just imagine a nice breeze flowing thru the open windows and screen door! I would dearly love to peek inside!
ReplyDeleteIt would be so difficult for me not to knock on the door and ask to peek inside. At the very least, at least to stop and tell the residents how much I enjoy driving by their home!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!
Thanks, I needed a smile this morning! ☺
ReplyDeleteYes, it is darling, sweetpea. Happy pink saturday....

Good Morning, Spence, what's cookin'?
ReplyDeleteLove that little cottage, too. It's so cute. I wish the original columns and railing were on it, but at least it's still mostly in tact. The flowers are sweet, too. :-)
Once, Mr. Magpie and I renovated an 800 square foot cottage to save it from the wrecking ball, and it was VERY cute. I think the same man owns it that we sold it to many years ago. They did some other things to the outside, but I just loved it. It had wood walls inside and the original bead board in the kitchen and bath, clawfoot tub, antique bathroom sink, antique kitchen sink, little fireplace (we had to replace the mantle, and I found a period one in a shop), etc. But I'm getting carried away. LOL! It was the one thing I think I was proudest of doing in terms of being a preservationist. I'm just glad we could afford to buy it and save it. We turned a nice investment on our money at the time, too, but it was more an act of love for me.
Happy Pink Saturday to you, dear one...
XO,
Sheila :-)
What an adorable little cottage...it looks happy!
ReplyDeleteI have been know to go to a cute house like that, knock on the door and tell them how cute the house is...many times, because people who love to decorate usually are also very friendly, you will get an invite to see the inside!....try it!
ReplyDeleteOh this really does look like a precious doll house. I love the curtains too. Everything is just so pretty and it really shows how much it is loved. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI love it Spence! What a charmer. I love little cottages like this. One of my dear friends just built a beautiful 6500 sq ft home and as I was touring it with her, I was thinking...I'm not feelin' it here. I love little spaces with lots of charm and this little home you have shown us today has tons of it.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
June
Hello Spencer. Lovely house.
ReplyDeleteNice shots.
Happy Pink Saturday and nice weekend.
It is a very sweet house. I imagine those curtains are crisply starched and the interior immaculate. The front yard certainly is. I hope you are having a wonderful Pink Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is an adorable house. It makes you wonder who lives there! Your pillows from the previous post are amazing! You have a gift with the thread and needle! Happy Pinkness to you Spencer!
ReplyDeleteI love little cottages like this! What a little jewel box ♥ Happy Pink Saturdy.
ReplyDeleteAdorable.
ReplyDeleteI also love that house, so charming and girlie, love it. I also have my curtains on the front of the house on one window, half way up, it is a very french design, lets light in and not peoples eyes, actually the curtain is three forths up the window and they are tab white cotton, I love the look and works so well. I enjoyed my visit and I am a new follower of yours...come for a visit to my house
ReplyDeleteOh you are soooo right! That a is a sweet little house! I just love it! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!
Hugs, Lisa
I hate to say it Spencer, but the wires bring in the look of days gone by don't they. You should go up to the door and they the people that live there how you feel about their lovely home. I bet they would invite you in. You never know where something like that can take you. Be brave, take the step, Happy Pink Saturday, Char
ReplyDeleteHI Spencer!
ReplyDeleteIt IS such a cute little Dollhouse, isn't it?
We can just pretend the wires are not there, right?
Thanks so much for sharing!

Can't blame you for stopping by this sweet little cottage when you can to see it. I'd do the same. I hardly noticed the wires at first until I read it on the post that they are there. I was too busy oogling the cottage.
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine how happy all the people are that live there! Very sweet cottage thanks for sharing. Esther
ReplyDeleteIt really is an adorable little cottage.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable cottage!
ReplyDeleteIt's a cute little doll house! I would really have to pair down my belongings to live in a place like this. LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend, Spencer!
hugs, Sue
It is indeed charming, Spencer! I love cozy little cottages - this one is so inviting! Maybe you can sneak inside one day! Or better yet, make friends with the owner. Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolutely sweet cottage! I too would love to see how it is decorated inside!!
ReplyDeleteI just read your story and it is an amazing story to put it mildly! Growing up a friends mom had polio and I always admired how she got around and all that she could do. To this day she has not given in to it even though she spends a lot of her time in a wheelchair as she is in her 80's. God is so good to us, what a blessing to give you the gift of decorating and creating such nice things! I know as I have two of them right in my house!! :o)
What a wonderful, wonderful little cottage!
ReplyDeleteThe cottage is so charming!...Christine

Surely love lives within this charming home. Thank you for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday, Spencer.
Oh, what an adorable little cottage! I love the lace in the windows . . . it's so pretty and welcoming.
ReplyDeleteEver tried knocking on the door? They might just invite you in!
Thanks for sharing and Happy Pink Saturday!
Blessings,
Teresa
