Please Pray For The Families Of These Police Officers.......

It's been a horrifying day in Western Washington today.

These police officers were all killed this morning while having coffee and planning their day. They all had their laptops open doing what it is officers do to start their shift.

They were gunned down by a lone shooter whose target was these officers.

There were two baristas in the coffee shop and a few other customers who were all unharmed......thankfully.

Nine children lost their parents in that shooting.

Many, many families and friends lives will be forever changed.

My heart is breaking for them. They are such hero's. They put their lives on the line every day to protect the people and keep the peace.

A single person shattered all of those lives.

I'm soooo sorry for these families. May God bless them and give them comfort.

Please pray for all of them.

Huggies and Lovies,
Spencer

  4. Dear Spencer,

I turned on the news this evening and this was on. My husband and I were shocked. This is cold-blooded, premeditated murder. I hope they catch the person that did this SOON.

Our prayers are with these fallen officers and their families. Such a tragedy, so senseless.

They are in God's arms tonight.

    Hugs,
    Marsha

  8. This is horrible, reminds me of when the four RCMP Mounties were gunned down and killed in Alberta a few years ago. Scary and sickening, and to leave all those children without parents, how terrible.
They are in my thoughts and prayers for sure.

  11. This puts such worry into my mind, as my son has chosen law enforcement as a career. This is such a tragedy to lose such innocent young men and women. Peace officers put their lives on the line everyday that they go out, and the public does not always appreciate their efforts. I look at things from a different perspective these days...

  15. This incident was so tragic and senseless it is difficult to even comprehend.

My husband was a police officer with our local city police department for 32 years so when another officer is killed, no matter where it is, it really hits home with other officers and their families. We all know something like this could easily happen to our loved one working in law enforcement. The world seems to be becoming a more dangerous place filled with crazy people so that is one of the primary reasons there are no photos of my hubby on my blog. Things like this make me very glad he is now working in a little safer environment, investigating nursing home/elderly abuse...in regular street clothes.

  17. Spencer, we were just leaving Seattle when that was announced on the radio yesterday. Made me incredibly sad, honey, that those families won't have their hubbies and wife for the holidays. Such a tragedy there. I know Washington was sure sad and upset about it yesterday.

  21. Oh my dearest,
What an awful tragedy....these kinds of things just hurt so and unfortunately are among us. Your light is precious and thank you for letting us know about this. I will pray for the precious families and their peace. Thank you for visiting with me....I am back to work after having Thanksgiving off. It was so peaceful. You pronounce armoire like this: AH MWAR but with the final "r" at the back of the throat! And no, I don't have any children, but I found that darling Holy Family on Google images!

God bless you and protect you all, Anita

  25. This was such a horrible crime. Evil is strong in the world. My nephew is a police officer and I worry about him every day. There seems to be less respect for the police in our culture..I hope that will change.I am praying for these men and their families.

Thank you for entering the Christmas teapot give away on my blog -- I'll be announcing the winner on Wednesday!

  26. I know has just made me feel sick to my stomach since it happened. Horrible and tragic, more so because they would be alive if the guy had been kept in prison or jail where he belonged. My heart aches for their children, coworkers and families!!!

  35. Hi Spencer, thanks for your comment on my blog. Yes, the Hutch Studio is where the Bunnies by the Bay used to be. I hadn't been to LaConner for years, but there is a newer building right next door and Bunnies by the Bay is there. I think Hutch just opened a few weeks ago, so it is not full of merchandise. Yes, it is very sad about the 4 police officers. My heart goes out to the children and families. I keep praying for them all. hugs, connie
