Happy Pink Saturday....
Have I told you all how wonderful you all are?
What a blessing you are to me. I am SO overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayer and comfort for my malady.....So touched and weepy, in fact, by your caring spirits.
Thank you from the bottom of my pea pickin' heart. It means more to me than I can ever say.
I am in awe.
I had no idea when I began blogging that I would meet so many wonderful girlies who actually care about me.....God is soooo good. Isn't He?
And, I care about you too! :-)
Ahhh......Bloggyville. What a great place.
I LOVE posies....I simply adore them. They make me smile.
Now, potholes, on the other hand, not so much.
I hit one several years ago and broke my darn axle. Whew, that's an expensive fix.
But, who wouldn't love them filled with adorable little flowers?
Doesn't it make you smile?
I want to live where this fellow lives!
His name is Pete Dungey.....
You can find him here:
Wasn't that a dandy idea?
There are TONS of girlies contributing to Pink Saturday now.
It has grown so much in the past few months.
You'll want to pop on over to Miss Beverly's to catch the links to the other sweeties.
I'm sending you all ENORMOUS grateful hugs!
If you'd continue to pray for me that would be stupendous.
I'm still hurtin'....

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Sweet Spencer...
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday Sweetie. I am so thrilled to hear that you are feeling a little better and that our prayers are helping. I so adore you, and so love coming to visit. You are one of my favorite stops each and every Saturday sweetie.
I love this post. Can you imagine the little collection of sweet flowers in a pot hole. I would be curious to know how long they last? Has anyone ran over then as of yet? You know there is always one in the crowd that has to try. I have seen it happen with so many things in the Valley here.
Have a beautiful day sweetie. Thank you for sharing with me your day. Country hugs and so much love...Sherry
Spencer, So glad you are up and around and feeling great , I hope.
ReplyDeleteLove the posies in the road.

ReplyDeleteI said my little prayer for you this morning before I got up, Spencer. I hope it is helping.
ReplyDeleteI recently met a woman named Kevin at Sam's Club checking receipts for everyone. I told her I had a friend named Spencer and she then told me she had met a lady named Timmy that morning. That lady named Timmy is also my friend.
Now that is just the cutest idea ever. I wonder if the city gets the drift that they need to do a few repairs? lol Great post, hope you are doing better. You continue to be in my prayers. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of filling potholes with flowers. I live in Canada and the winter takes its toll on the roads. If we did this the roads would be flower beds. Happy Pink Saturday!

ReplyDeleteSherry @ A Happy Valentine
What a great idea to put flowers in the pot holes. No one is going to hit them with the pretty flowers in them. AND it looks so cute, too. Yes, definitely brings out a smile.
ReplyDeletePatricia :o)
Posies do make you smile! Sorry you are still hurtin'! That stinks! Is the weather better in your neck of the woods? We have had sun for two days but will get rain and snow again on Tues. and Wed. SO I will visit your sweet posies to see Spring! Prayers for the pain to ease soon!

ReplyDeletePot hole gardens!! Love it!! It's the "If you have lemons make lemonade" philosophy. So positive! We need more of that kind on thinking. Thank you for bringing this charming idea to our attention. Let's just beautify our streets.

Okay Spencer, that last comment was from me, Susan from Ash Tree Cottage. Brawley Wentworth Construction is a new blog by my hubby, who forgot to sign out. I was wondering why by account was not showing up. Sorry. I'm still a newbie and make mistakes all of the time!

ReplyDeleteHi Spencer, glad to hear that you are feeling better. Love the pictures of the potholes all made pretty with a posey! After this hard winter here in Germany, our roads are riddled with potholes too, something we don't see here too often. How pretty the roads would be if each hole had a pretty flower in it! I am tempted..... :-) ~ Debby
ReplyDeleteHi Spencer! I'd just love to help you polish your silver! Now, where in the world did I put that cleaner? Shoot! I guess I'll have to rub and buff next time! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping in to see me.

Oh sweet Spencer....I know just how you feel. I get the same thing and it feels so bad! Like a heart attack bad. I hope you feel better soon. Instead of Tylenol, I took Bayer aspirin. It isn't as bad for you either. Get better soon.
