S

Is this the cutest darn garden gate? It even has a door plate? Wow!

These homes are in my daughter's neck of the woods here in the Northwest. It's not the architecture of the South or the East Coast, but soooo pretty, I think!

You can click on any of the photos for a bigger shot!....you know you want to! ;-)

This home belongs to that lovely gate...............dreaming of that wall and landscaping........ :-)

I'm in love with black shutters!

Mmmmmmmmm......aren't those the prettiest windows???

This old gal needs some TLC, but my daughter and I both just love this home!

This home is enormous!!!! And, many of these homes have a view of Puget Sound........YUM!

High on a hill with a beautiful view.......

I always think it would be fun to live in a place like this! :-)

They just don't do windows like this one any more, do they??

Just look at all the detail!

A more modest home, but still.........way bigger than Bellamere Cottage!!! :-)

Something is just WRONG about that apartment building.....

Stately!

Wooops.........didn't seem to get the close-up shot even near the "full" shot.....sorry! It's sooo big and part of it is cut off in the snap too! YIKES! Hmmmm.......I'm thinking I'd have a really big sewing room in this one!

Doesn't this just make you smile? It was soooo cute!

YUMMY!

Cobblestone and two different kinds of brick........so pretty, but they're pretty darn bumpy!

Gosh, I wonder how long ago this was planted! HUGE!!!

So crisp and clean......I loved the little trees on the porch and the black shutters........little Bellamere Cottage has black shutters too! :-)

This is my very favorite. It looks so dear, doesn't it? This little gal has it alllll! Well, except black shutters!

My daughter and I both love to drive around looking at homes.........I always wish I could go inside. What kinds of treasures to they have? How is it decorated? YEP....that's why I LOVE blogging..........I get to peek inside so many of your homes. It's so much fun to see all the darling little ideas you gals come up with. It's like a dream come true......without having to knock on doors and ask to peek!

Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday.

Blessings and hugs,
Spencer

  1. Good morning precious one! Thank you for this lovely tour of homes! This is my favorite thing to do out on walking excursions: LOOK AT HOMES! And we have some dillys here in the Twin Cities. I swear that the architects of way back had a "love Jones" for cottages and fairy tales, because SOOOOO many of our homes here are so darling and magical. We also have large mansions and it is a joy to drive to work everyday just to see the lovely gardens and homes. I so adore that first picture of that garden gate and that RHODODENDRON ARCH IS HUGEEEEEEEE!

You have yourself an awesome Sunday sweet thang!

  4. Hi Spencer,
I love looking at homes too. My husband and I used to take long walks in an old neighborhood in a small town near ours. They have one street with the most gorgeous old homes and I was always hoping someone would invite us in to take a peek inside.
Thanks for sharing the beautiful home pictures.

  10. I love to do that too Spencer. I love to see onto people's homes at dusk too. Just as they are turning on their lamps and interior lights. Yikes! I hope that doesn't make me a creep or something.LOL
There are so many beautiful old homes in a nearby town. Our town is rather ugly. No interesting homes at all. But then I live in a teeny farming town.
These homes you have shared are so pretty. I think I could live happily in any one of them.

  11. Hi..Such lovely houses. I wonder the very same things you do..and one of my favorite things to do as well, just to look at them. They satisfy a certain asthetic in me, I guess. And, I am always inspired with things to do to my house, too!
Oh, and by the way, I just love your music.
    Have a wonderful Sunday.

We missed you on the Pink Saturday train yesterday. I hope all is well. Glad to see this post pop up and enjoyed seeing all these lovely homes. I like to stalk houses, too. I like it second to shopping for shiny objects.

I love looking at homes too. All of these homes are so sweet and welcoming. Wouldn't it be great if we could just go up to them and peek inside the windows without anyone inside caring if we did!

  21. Hello sweet lady...

Ohhh my...aren't these homes simply gorgeous? You know, I love to do the same thing...to drive around and take a peek at all the beautiful homes! Whenever we go some place new, if we have the time, we always drive around and do this! It's so much fun trying to imagine what they might look like inside! Hehe! Well my friend, your daughter certainly lives in a very beautiful neighborhood!

I'm so glad that you joined in with Sunday Favorites this week, Darlin'...this was such a great post to revisit! I do apologize at being so late to get by for a visit though...just busy trying to get caught up after our weekend away! We had a blast at the car show...even though I'm sunburned...windburned...and pooped out! Hehe! But then, I bet you know exactly what I'm talking about if you did the car show thing! Have a great week, sweet friend! Oh yes, and thank you soooo very much for all the sweet mentions...gosh, you made me blush! Hehe!

    Love ya,
