Can One Really Be As "Sick As A Dog"?

Oh my gooooooness.....

I am FINALLY able to crawl out of bed and make it to the computer....

Holy SCHMOLY!

One day I went to lunch with a friend........Feeling JUST FINE.... Next Day?

WHAP.

I didn't think I'd EVER be able to breathe again... But, ALAS..... the Punies are nearly gone.

I NEVER go to bed when I have the "crud".... This time I had no choice.

I watched a GAZILLION episodes of House Hunters, Selling New York and Nate.

I nearly cleaned off my DVR. :-)

Whoooppeeeee!

Still have a horrible cough and a nasty sore throat, but the end is near. :-)

Thank you Jesus.

I didn't want Valentine's Day to go by without wishing you a wonderful LOVE day.

I have a giveaway and totally planned to share it for the holiday, but I couldn't even take the pictures....

Watch for it!

I'll do it early in the week.

Big Huggies!

And Lovies,

Spencer

  1. So sorry to hear you've been sick, Spencer! I hope you are feeling better each day. I have {luckily} not been hit with the flu in quite some time, but I know some people who had it last year and said the same thing. Fine one minute and then flat on their back the next.

  3. Oh Spencer, I woke up this morning feeling pretty crummy. Your sypmtoms sound like my symptoms. I have been in self-defense mode all day and keeping the immune system up hoping that I won't get it too bad. I can't tell if this is a cold or the flu. This is a nasty bug that is going around. We have it at work right now. Glad that you are starting to feel better. I had to laugh about all of your shows that you watched. Those are exactly the ones I would be watching. I love Selling New York. I like RE anyway and NY is just fascinating.
    Big healing hugs, Sue
    P.S. Happy Valentine's Day!!!

  6. Everyone I know has been sick lately! I hate this time of year! I've been sick for about 2 weeks with what started out as a mere sore throat...now it's full blown Bronchitis! I, too, have a terrible cough that keeps me up all night! Any meds helping you out? I've tried different things, but Delsym and some Vicks Vaporub seem to be helping me more than anything! I wish I could lay in bed and rest and watch all of my DVR shows...but a certain 3-year-old just won't allow it :( I hope you get to feeling better soon! HUGS! ~Destiny

  12. Was it the flu that made you blue?
Or that ole stomache crud that made you feel like a dud?
Glad you're better and feeling fine,
    Especially for your sweet valentine!

  13. So sorry to hear you haven't been well, Spencer. Everyone at my house has continued to escape the nasties so far (knock on wood) but I'm aware there is a lot of crud going around right now. Rest up and don't hesitate to baby yourself until you are back at 110% capacity.

  22. So sorry to hear you have been sick. I think we must have had the same "crud" as I'm just left with a sore throat and cough too. I went to bed too...so not me either. Take care of yourself. Hope you had a Happy Valentine's Day anyway.

  23. Bonsoir et merci beaucoup, Spencer! I appreciate you visiting my blog!
Keep alert for any signs of a relapse with your sickness. My husband's flu turned to pneumonia and a couple of weeks later he got strep throat:( But surely blog surfing and checking out all these prize giveaways is good medicine:)

  30. Hi Spencer....I hope this finds you feeling better...I had the exact same thing...it lasted 2 full weeks and I was miserable...The first day I woke up I couldn't swallow...I tapped the Boss on the shoulder and said..."I'm panicking here...I can't swallow".....I had to actually take a valium or I would have freaked out, thought I wouldn't be able to breath if my throut closed on me....and then the Boss got it and I had to cancel my Valentines Blog party....so i feel your pain....Hope you are on the mend!! Sue
