Welllllllllll...........I was just sitting around bored ..... nothing to do.......(Just kidding).......and thought I'd empty the tunes off of my very, very old iPod shuffle so I could reload the dang thing. I've had it forever and have only used it once.... I thought this little job would take a couple of minutes and I'd be on to something else.........Who knew you could delete your ENTIRE library? Ok, maybe MOST of you know how to do that little task, but I ran amuck. I don't know exactly what I clicked, but I sure clicked something that I shouldn't have. I had FORTY THOUSAND songs in my account. Yep, it looked like I had just downloaded iTunes and ready to start when I was finished.
My darling daughter came to my rescue and found many of them on my external hard drive in my music file, but they don't come back into the folders where I had them. DANG it. And, I didn't get all of them back, so I've been going through our CD's (FOUR HUNDRED of them) to see what's missing. I was able to retrieve the ones I purchased, and went to the library to find some of the missing songs.......but it has been one BIG stinking job.
About half way done. Whooopeee! Why doesn't iTunes have a GO BACK button??? :-)
Life should too, sometimes, I think.
Well, sweet chickies, I'm in the middle of re-doing the Christmas albums, so Merry Christmas too. I like being early on stuff.
