Oh, how I love progress.
I bought some delicious dropcloth fabric.....ok, so it's NOT delicious, but it's really inexpensive and quite sturdy for pillows. I already had a bit of vintage lace....(yes, I collect that too)..I think this was actually a bodice/yoke for a little nightie, but it was perfect for this project.
I've turned it on it's side, carefully tacked it to my dropcloth, added some buttons....
A better shot....see the little bit of vintage lace? You can always click on the pictures for a close-up. It's so beautiful.....I can't believe someone took time to make this little lovely. I think it's simply amazing.Number 5 you ask? Yeah, no significance. I just think it's a cute number. I like number 2 too!
I have about 40 gazillion vintage buttons........don't tell the hubbs, I just bought more yesterday.....let that be our secret. I think I may be a bit OCD??? :-)
