Merry Christmas Dear Chickies!
Holy moly.....things are zipping right along here......it's already Christmas Eve Eve!
Where has the time gone? I actually decorated the day after Thanksgiving but haven't had two minutes to blog... and even though we've had some sunny days........no time to take the pix either.
I couldn't let this special time of year pass without saying how much I appreciate your friendships and kindness. So, from the bottom of my heart.......know how much I do.
I really, really do.
I apologize for not visiting you back lately. I've been stuck in the hustle and bustle mode.

So, here's a bit of pink for Christmas. I don't use any red, things are just too pastel here and it just doesn't look good, but I'm getting itchy for some red. It would mean an entire color switch around here, but I'm considering it. :-)
I made the roses....yep, coffee filters. I looked at so many tutorials about how to do it, but mine just didn't look like those and I wasn't happy with them, so I devised this little rose myself.

Several years ago I made all the little felt ornaments........I'm thinking I want a change next year. Hmmm... I'll have to give that some thought.

The tree. See how I've cropped the bottom out? Yep, not a single present is wrapped. I'll be working on that this afternoon. I just finished my two besties presents yesterday. I'll show you after Christmas........they might peek! :-) (And, I've planned a new tree skirt for years and still haven't gotten to it. )
I've used feather boa as my garland for years and years. I love how fluffy and snowlike it looks. And, I'm just that kind of gal. Lots of glitter and fluff. Does glitter make you happy too? I swear, I clean all the time, but I'll still be finding glitter bits in May.

Ahhhh..... presents from LAST year. Now, wasn't that easy? I love using more than one paper on a package......and a smidge of sparkle.
Years ago, while I was checking out at the grocery store, the clerk asked me if I was ready for Christmas.........I told him I still had to wrap.......so he started RAPPING on the spot about wrapping. It was hilarious and I still laugh about it every time I say I have to get to the wrapping. Gotta love a funny clerk amidst the hustle and bustle, right?
I'm wishing you and yours a glorious Christmas filled with joy and love and we celebrate the birth of Jesus.
Merry, Merry Christmas!
Huggies and lovies,
Spencer
