We will NEVER forget..........the men and women who died to protect the freedoms we have in this country. We are so grateful to them and their families for their immense sacrifice. I was a young adult during the Viet Nam war. It's so horrifying to remember the treatment of these troops when they came home from the war. I'm so glad that doesn't happen anymore and that we, as a country, show our gratitude to our heros.

We'll all be having BBQ'S and picnics this weekend. We'll be spending time with family and friends. I hope everyone takes a moment to remember those who won't have their loved one to party with.........

The sweet little Aussie, Kay, from www.sweetasparadise.blogspot.com took EIGHT pictures at the sea for me with both Mum and Mom written in the sand for my Memory Jar! How dear is that? I appreciate it so much and LOVE them. I can't wait to get them printed so I can add them to all my sweet memories.
