Happy Pink Saturday! Loads more fun from all the other great posters at
www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com.
Miss Beverly hosts this event every week.....it just keeps getting bigger and bigger....grab your morning cuppa and have some fun! :-)
I've switched things around a bit since these snaps were taken....but still, it's pink, right!!!!??
I LOVE that pink cabinet. Nobody else in my family likes it, but what the heck, it was only 25 dollars and makes me really happy. It started life as a yukky, dirty white, but a nice coat (really about a zillion) of pink paint and it was transformed. It had disgusting pulls and none of the new ones fit the hole space, so let's just bend some old spoons.....it worked! And, it makes that little cupboard sort of zippy, don't you think? It holds sooooo much stuff! It's amazing. And, it's right there by the table, so it's easy when we entertain....

Have I shown you this picture before? I can't remember......I just know I'm pooped and I can't remember anything right now....so, if I'm cheating I'm sorry!
The little vignette from the entry table....I love things that contain a lot of little "stuff"... :-)
My dearest, darling hubbs bought the teapot for me as a Christmas gift several years ago...and I LOVE old teacups. I gave about 10 sets to my daughter...do I really need all of them?? :-)
I've had the old Language of Flowers book for a long time, but I still love it....it used to have a nice cover on it....and MORE teacups. Gotta love a nice stack of them. The bottom cup is Shelley...isn't it cute? I got it for a buck at the thrift store because it didn't have a saucer. I didn't care.....it was way too cute to pass up.
And, of course, the little shelf started life as a natural wood piece....YUK! Nothing like some paint to fix it up!
