Happy Pink Saturday Sweet little Chickies....
I often find gobs of lovely things when I'm poking around the net....and I can't resist saving them....Do you do that too?
Soooo....When I was trying to decide what I'd do for Pink Saturday this week I thought I'd share some of these wonderful pix with you.
They make me smile!
Which is just great about now. The new 'puter arrived. Oh how shiny and new! And, fast. But, sadly, not without problems. You know how you get all of your favorite things loaded up? Yeah, welllllll...........I don't know where some of those things went, but they're gone for sure.
My sweet computer fella came to help AGAIN tonite. We couldn't retrieve my e-mail from my main account. Yeah, I'm a little bit behind in the reading department and there were over 900 e-mails in my box..........NOT my blog account....I read every single one of those and LOVE them all! Promise. Shhhhh...........don't tell anyone I was soooo far behind. (Lots of them were ads and such...so it's really not as bad as it sounds.) I had some serious reading to do. Note: HAD. Empty mailbox now. YIKES.
And, no contacts either.

This is a little too small for me.........oh how I LOVE thrifting. How much could I jam inside this little pink cutie?
Would it be nearly as cute with all of my goodies tied on top? :-)
It makes me smile though, and I suspect I'd sing a lot driving it around. Yes, I WOULD keep the windows rolled allllll of the way up.

Dang.........I've been searching high and low for one of these! Do you think it might be a dual purpose item?
My daughter and I gave a bridal shower a couple of years ago.....we made this party hat for the bride to wear.
Pink and glitter.....oh yes.......I think I need one of these.
No, no more marriages for this girl. :-)
You KNOW they say three is a charm......I'm stickin' with that.

I'm crazy about vintage postcards....isn't this one a cutie?
I think I got many of these from Flickr....but if I got them from YOU....thank you very much. And, if you'll let me know, I'd be happy to give you credit. :-)
Now, I know you'd really love to see more great pinks!
As always, Beverly is hosting this Pink Party.
Isn't she just a peach?

Love the post..... About the mini-car??? I am way too old to fold myself up to get in & out of that!! I think my son had a Tonka truck bigger than that when he was a child! LOL!!

Spencer, The greatest pink pictures. So sorry about the puter...I understand, I seem to have problems at least once a month.....wonderful but disgusting things!!!!!

Spencer, you don't receive emails when you follow somebody. You only receive emails you somebody follows you, and since you have over 200 followers, you may be receiving a few emails, unless, of course, you have set it up in your dashboard to NOT be advised when a follower leaves a comment. Now, bite that bullet, Spencer....come on now -- head on over and sign up to follow so that you can enter the contest and be a part of the family (haha). I am gonna be watching you like a hawk to see if you're going to do it. Also -- try to link to the bragfest. I love your pink!!!
ReplyDeleteMy next giveaway might be for those marvelous hedgeapples, and I know you absolutely LOVE those :)
I enjoy your music, your pictures, and why does your mother look so familiar to me? I see she recently passed away. I'm so very sorry. You must miss her tremendously. Much affection and lots of hugs (((((((((((hug)))))))))))
Good morning you precious person and wonderful storyteller! Oh that is too bad that you are already experiencing problems with the new " 'puter" (I just love the way you play with language!) Your images are bright and sweet like your spirit. I wish you a fun and beautiful Pink Saturday! Bisous, Anita

What a cute post, made me giggle!! Oh, how I cringe when I have to transfer data from one computer to another. I now save everything to an external drive just in case! I also keep my old PC as a backup. At one time I had three in my closet, LOL, now I only have one in there!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful PiNk SaTuRdAy!
Hugs,
Marsha
Now, tell me, who in the real world would wear such a silly hat as that, sweetpea?! I'd take the pink bicycle though in a heartbeat. Happy pink saturday, chickee.

Spencer, I love your pinks! That bike pic is wonderful! I have one similar to that I took, but the bike is blue. :-) And that hat is a hoot! LOL! Can you imagine a whole party full of those things! You'd have to have a football field to accomodate them all. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you get your computer all set up and working to your satisfaction. I lost some things in the transfer of mine, too. But I'm just glad to be up and running again.
Happy Pink Saturday to you, dear one, and much love to you today and always...

ReplyDeleteHi Spencer...
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday sweetie. I so love this pink post. Now I am with you honey, that little car does not have enough room for all of my thrift finds, as I would be driving back home to make dumps after each store I am sure.
That hat is somthing else. I think my grandson would like to drive his cars around it like a track though.
I love the crown you made. It is so sparkly and shiny, and the pink and black together is always so pretty. Thanks for sharing.
I too enjoy the vintage postcards. They are so beautiful to sit and look at the detail on each of them, no two being alike. That is what I love most.
Please stop by and say hi. I am sorry things aren't going so great with the new computer, just remember it always takes a little while to work out the bugs.
See ya soon sweetie. Country hugs...Sherry
Hi Spencer, I'm cracking up with the ole gals crazy zany hat. Gotta luv it! Hugs, Mollye

I loved all the pictures..but I am baffled by the hat on that lady.Surely that can't be just a "normal" hat. :). Have a lovely weekend filled with pretty pinks.
ReplyDeletep.s. Hope your computer problems are smoother out soon..
I love that er, ah, round hat?
ReplyDeleteI learned to drive in a VW Bug with a gear shift! However, it wasn't pink! I'm sorry, Spence, that you lost some stuff when you tried to transfer to your new computer. I'm glad it wasn't valuable, like "Hey, you won $$$$"
ReplyDeleteGood Sunday Morning Spencer! Love these pink goodies, especially that car! Hope you have a wonderful afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI just love every one of those pink pics!! I think the bicycle is my fave!! Thanks for sharing them with us. :)

Hi Spencer, I have not had many computor problems, but when they occur, it's awful. I hope yours get resolved soon. I think we should all have one of those hats!!!! That's just too over the top. Sweet little car, but was too little for me. I think we would be in big trouble on our freeways in that, altho you see them in Italy all over the place, bet they are fun to drive, kind of like the VW bugs back in the 60's. I hope you had a Happy Pink Saturday and have a great week ahead, Char
ReplyDeleteG'morn, sweet Spencer ~ I LOVE that car .. I can see it having 'finds' tied down all over it so as not to have to go home & unload. I REALLY LIKE that pink bike, one day I am going to find one.
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing well otherwise ... computer problems are the pits. I am NOT good with them.
Have a beautiful day. Pop over to Nov. 10th post & enter our giveaway. Hugs, TTFN ~Marydon
Oh, sweetie, I just read back posts ... my gosh! I am soooo glad that you are all ok, & the fire went nowhere. We've been thru circumstances in the house like this, scares the tar outta one. Thank God all is well.
ReplyDeleteSorry I missed this post before. Hugs, Marydon
Happy Pink Saturday, dear Spencer. I hope everything is humming along with your new computer soon. I still have things that I lost and am mourning from my last computer.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures gave me a smile. I especially laughed at the millinery. Too funny!
Hi, Spencer,
ReplyDeleteI love all your pinks today! If I had that pink bike, I would park it right outside my door, too! It's so cute! I am addicted to vintage images so I enjoyed the purple lady in that fantastic hat!! Thank you so much for stopping by for a cup of tea at Bunny Cottage. I always love it when you do! Vicki
