Remembering......

I couldn't let this day go by without thanking our military for their service......both past and PRESENT.

We are very fortunate to live near a military base, so the opportunities to thank our troops are plentiful. What a blessing to me...........I often wish I'd hit a big financial windfall so I could go around doing "Random Acts of Kindness" for our military personnel. We are so blessed that so many willingly put their lives on the line for US.


I'd also like to thank their families. They too, sacrifice so much. I can't imagine having my loved one in harm's way, raising the kids alone, and missing important occasions with my beloved.

Thank you so very much.

God bless you!

And, God Bless AMERICA!

    Hello. I absolutely agree with all you're saying about our wonderful, brave troops! I have the same desire when I see any person in uniform - would love it if I could be a big financial blessing to them.

    You're so right about troops' families sacrifice - they serve this country too, just in a different capacity.

    Spencer, this is a beautiful tribute...I so agree with your words of love and admiration for our brave military. I would also love to give and give and give back even a smidget of what they give for us. I so appreciate them! May they feel our prayers and support as they fight for our freedom and our wonderful, beautiful country!

    Hello Spencer,

    Sweet post! I to am remembering and so grateful for those who have and are protecting our country. I watched this morning as 4 vintage airplanes flew over my house, very low, three times. The third time, the 4th airplane sperated from the pack. My heart was full and tears streamed from my eyes. How blessed we are to live in the USA! Thank you for the reminder how blessed we are.

    What a beautiful tribute. We are very blessed by all those who serve to keep us safe and free.

    AND I am so grateful your sweetie didn't get hurt. I think that is why I am afraid of having any old light fixtures(new wiring and all)
