I Have A Hitch In My Get-A-Long.....

And, I have one word for it...........
OUCH!

Hmmmm.....Dr. says it's Costochondritis....I've had it before, but it has NEVER been this painful.

I'm not a pill-popper, but right now I'm so grateful for pain pills.

When I have surgery I always try to get right off them and onto Ibuprofen or Tylenol....but right now, they just aren't cutting it.

Evidentally Costochodritis is an inflammation of the cartilage that attach your ribs to your sternum or some such malady.

I was so excited to finally be gettin' the lead out and making progress on my spring cleaning, but it's just been me, the heating pad and the recliner for several days now.

Would you please pray for me?

I really, really, really need it.

Sweet girlies.......I so hope all is well with you.  I haven't been around visiting much.

I could use my Hubb's laptop, but I always seem to find new and wonderful blogs and I can't save them to his computer....

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all of you....you're the most wonderful sweeties and I'm missing my time in Bloggieville.

Big hugs......well, gentle ones.........    :-)   OUCH.

  9. Hi Spencer, I'm getting so lost in my blogging lately, being a newbie and all. I know that I've been here recently because recognize your name. However today, I have to admit, seeing the rib cage image on another blog caught my attention and I had to investigate. Your sense of humor presenting it as you are in pain is inspiring. I will include you in my prayers.

  11. I went to the Mayo Clinic site to read about this condition. Apparently lounging in your recliner with the heating pad is about all you can do for now. The spring cleaning will wait. It's best that you just rest and let the inflammation settle down. In the meantime I will pray for you as will your other blog friends. Take it easy. Use this time to read or do some quiet crafts. Dream about new projects, etc. I'll keep checking in even if you don't feel up to posting.

    Love,
    Susan and Bentley

  14. Dear Spencer, I hope that you start feeling better and this inflammation goes away. I had a simple cartilage infection there once, and it hurt, but I'm positive it was nothing compared to what you are undergoing. I have been visiting a few peeps but not posting. I really don't have much to say. Too tired to think of anything! LOL Take care of yourself and know I'm thinking of you. Big hugs, Sue

  16. Dear sweet friend...

I am soooo sorry to hear that you are having this painful malady and I have already lifted you up in prayer, sweet girl!!! It sounds terribly painful...you get lots of rest and relax...let your body heal! I know, I know...for so many years I have fought the pain pill thing! With my fibromyalgia, the pain pills are the only way I manage a "somewhat" normal life! I sure do hate that and covet your prayers as well!

Feel better, sweet girl!!! Sending big but gentle hugs and prayers...

  22. I think Randy has this Spencer. He has been ill for nearly a year now. They have done every test possible. Does it kind of hurt by your lung? That's what happens to Randy. He becomes very "out of breath" and struggles to even walk at times. He's only 48. Would that be a soft tissue issue? They did give him Celebrex, anti-inflammatory meds.
I'm going to research this one. Maybe you found the miracle we have been looking for.
You can email me if your up to it sweet Spence. Take care.

  38. Spencer, that sounds just awful. I have a bad lower back from first child. I take the blasted pain pills and thank the Lord who made the guy who discovered them! That's how bad I AM! They said I had it years ago but it didn't hurt. It hurts now... but then everything hurts now! They never told me getting older was going to hurt...nope..no one told me anything except it was all gonna be
    GOLDEN!
Love and hugs to you!! Take you pills and feel better!
