Ahhhh.... Come ON.... It's JULY!

Yep, I LOVE, love, love the Pacific Northwest...

It's such a beautiful place to live but this is just CRAZY!

Isn't this supposed to be summer?

Listen.... I can HEAR my posies yelling for some sunshine.

It's dark and gloomy and there is not a hint of a bright day.

I guess it's just as well. I will doing more sorting and cleaning today.

It makes me appreciate having an eensie-beensie cottage..........there aren't many rooms to clean. :-)

I hope all is well with all of you dear and wonderful chickies and hopefully you're getting a bit of sunshine in your world. :-)

Are you toasty or freezing too?

I'll be a good blogging buddy again, I PROMISE! Right after I finish this project.

Oh my goodness.... You just can't imagine how many "lost" things I've found.

YIPPPEEEE!

It'll just be me and Mr. Clean today. Gosh, I love that guy.

Huggies, Lovies and Blessings,

Spencer

  1. I know. We ALL think of summer as hot temperatures and lots of sun. We are battling with Alex right now. There are tornado watches here and rain, rain, rain. It is even predicted for the Fourth of July. Bummer! Guess there are just some years like this.
    Have a great day though..

  7. Spence, we are sitting tight inside with the AC running full blast! The sun came out this morning, but it is about to rain AGAIN. Of course, it's debatable whether or not it's raining in St. Augustine. It seems to get skipped! ;-)

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  12. I'm here in the Pacific NW with you! We just had a sun break. I am so ready for some sun. I just can't make myself do anything outside while it is still so dreary. Maybe, just maybe, we will have some real summer soon. My dear hubber reminds me that if we were "home" in Alabama we'd be near death from the heat and humidity. Guess I should just bloom where I'm planted :-)

  13. It's hard for me to have sympathy for you since we have been sweltering the last three weeks here in Alabama. Sylvia's husband is right-on in her post above. But, we have had a cool-down for the past couple of days and are promised a beautiful Fourth of July weekend with lower humidity and highs in the 80's! Bring it on! Hope you have a wonderful and SUNNY Fourth!

  16. SPENCER!!!! You came to visit my post; I just love to see my dear friends come visit with me!!! And that yellow cottage....we saw that on one of our walks in my sister-in-law's neighborhood. Such a pretty place with cottages all around. AND THE REST OF THE TRIP WAS UNFORGETTABLE! And of course....I am going to chronicle our addition, I hope you and the other bloggers will not tire of it, but it is pretty exciting!

I hope the rain has subsided so you can have a decent fourth of July, dearest. Wishing you a wonderful day at Bellamere!!! Anita
